Family Houston

Family Houston will host the Laughing Matters Gala 2026 on Thursday, April 30 at The Revaire, featuring a headline performance by comedian and SNL alum Colin Quinn. Proceeds support Family Houston's mission to expand access to Mental Health Counseling and the resources families and individuals need to build brighter futures.

Family Houston has partnered with the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health to launch the Rural Mental Health Collaborative in Willis, Texas, bringing together local leaders, residents, and organizations to improve mental health outcomes for underserved communities in rural Montgomery County through listening sessions, co-developed action plans, and culturally responsive strategies.

With support from the NBA Foundation, Family Houston's Youth on the Move program empowers underserved youth ages 14–24 through workforce development, personalized coaching, and job placement. In 2024, the program served 145 youth, secured 23 employment and 27 internship placements, and reported 100% gains in financial literacy and career readiness.
