Jessica Cisneros, M.Ed., LPC-S, BCC
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and her Master of Education in Counseling from University of Houston.
Jessica has her license as a Professional Counselor Supervisor and has worked with individuals of all ages and with problems ranging from Domestic Violence, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Behavioral issues and Borderline Personality Disorder. Jessica is currently supervising several LPC interns as well as overseeing the Behavioral Health department. She is a licensed Board Certified Coach and has experience and passion for helping individuals reach their full potential.
Adrian Lira, MA, LPC, NCC
Adrian received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Texas-El Paso and his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Adrian is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. He has experience providing treatment to children, adolescents, and adults who have been impacted by abuse, trauma, immigration proceedings, depression, difficulty managing anger, and relationship challenges. He currently serves as the Clinical Manager at Family Houston, as well as a Bilingual Senior Clinician providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families undergoing many life challenges and transitions utilizing various therapeutic modalities. Adrian believes in helping individuals develop a stronger and healthier sense of self.
Estefania Ballesteros, MA, LMFT
Estefania received her Bachelor's of Science in Clinical Psychology from Abat Oliba University in Barcelona, Spain, and her Master of Arts in Family Therapy from the University of Houston Clear Lake.
Estefania’s passion is helping people succeed in life by being part of a system such as family and society, while identifying personal strengths and increasing self-awareness. She works with a myriad of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and PTSD. Estefania has also received training in Sex Therapy and works with individuals and couples experiencing emotional, physical intimacy and infidelity issues. She also provides pre-marital counseling, family therapy, and individual counseling utilizing different therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
Briana Eagleton, LCSW
Briana received her Bachelors of Science in Child Development and Family Living from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston.
Briana provides individual, family, and couple’s therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. She works with a myriad of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and stress. Briana has a general interest in working with children with behavioral disorders related to trauma. She uses a client centered approach in order to help clients reach their own goals and aspirations for their lives. Briana’s ultimate goal is for clients to feel empowered and equipped with the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges and live fulfilling lives.
Kathryn Foster, LMSW
Kathryn received her Bachelor's of Social Work and Master’s degree in Social Work – Direct Practice from Texas State University – San Marcos.
She believes in a client centered approach combining self-empowerment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. She also implements tools from Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy. She work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, trauma, and stress. Kathryn also has experience working with adolescents and in adoption.
Helen Humphries, MA, LMFT
Helen received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of Miami and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at The University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Helen provides individual, family, and couple’s therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. She works with a myriad of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and PTSD, among others. Helen uses a client-centered approach, allowing clients to bring in their own goals and work through them. Through treatment she helps clients become more empowered and provides them with the necessary building tools to confront life’s issues. Helen is bilingual and provides services in English and Spanish.
Nazia Islam, LPC
Nazia Islam is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Pace University and Bachelors of Arts from St. John’s University.
Nazia is dedicated to empowering others and helping them overcome obstacles such as relationship problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse and other psychiatric difficulties. Her passion is working with children and adolescents. She uses various therapeutic techniques and creativity to help children express themselves. Some issues that she has successfully addressed are ADHD, anxiety, behavior problems, mood disorders, autism, divorce, grief and loss, family conflicts, parenting problems, school adjustments, and PTSD.
Shelly Kessinger, LPC
Shelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and she received her Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of Houston.
Shelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and family therapy. She utilizes different types of therapy in her practice including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Shelly has a passion for working with relationship issues and marital issues in couples /marital counseling.

Anna received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston.
Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and provides individual, family, and couple’s counseling to adolescents, children, and adults. As a clinician, Anna has extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults. Anna uses a variety of treatment modalities, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered Therapy. She works with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, trauma, PTSD, negative thinking patterns, and low self-esteem. Sao S. Lorn, MA, LPC, LMFT
Sao S. Lorn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). He has a Master's of Arts in Family Therapy from University of Houston - Clear Lake (UHCL).
As a native of Cambodia, who came to the United States as a child, Sao has the ability to conduct therapy fluently in the English and Khmer (Cambodian) languages. His therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, culturally sensitive, and solution, goal, and emotionally-focused, with a family systems cognitive behavioral therapy foundation. He sees clients from all ages and stages of life. He works with individuals, couples, and families struggling with a diverse spectrum of emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. Pierre Matta, MA, LMFT-S
Pierre Matta has a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois and a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences – Family Therapy from the University of Houston at Clear Lake.
Pierre works with children (over the age of 11), adolescents, and adults. He provides individual, couple, and family therapy. Pierre has a family orientation and uses a variety of treatment modalities, selecting those that best serve the needs of his clients. Pierre was trained as a Christian minister and enjoys including spirituality in a client’s treatment plan when requested. Pierre is also an approved supervisor for licensed marriage and family therapy associates.

Sayra Medina is a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas.
Sayra received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College. Jorge L. Mendoza, M.Ed., LPC-I
Jorge is practicing as Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, supervised by Jessica Cisneros, M.Ed., LPC-S, BCC. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and his Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston.
As a firm believer of the importance of a person’s individual perspective, Jorge tailors his counseling treatment approach based on a client’s present and evolving needs. While a fan of Humanistic theoretical approaches, Jorge also implements tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to help initiate desired change in a client’s life. He has experience providing crisis intervention and working with individuals, couples, and adolescents on a variety of mental health issues. As a Clinician, Jorge assists his clients in reaching personal emotional stability via counseling and connecting clients with community resources that can help them achieve their goals. Stephanie Romero, M.Ed., LPC Intern
Stephanie is a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, under the supervision of Jessica Cisneros, M. Ed, LPC-S, BCC. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Education in Counseling at the University of Houston- Main Campus.
She currently provides services for adults in the THRIVE program from the ages of 18 and up in both English and Spanish, and has experience working with children and adolescents as well. She works with a myriad of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, and Autism among others. Stephanie uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor to the clients’ needs including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person- Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. Stephanie enjoys the privilege of joining her clients on their journey to self-discovery and emotional growth.
Tanja van Dam MA, LPC
Tanja received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from University of Texas Tyler.
Tanja provides individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in community settings with children and their families, as well as with adults diagnosed with severe mental health disorders. Although her primary modality is CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Tanja tailors treatment to the individual by using an array of therapeutic interventions. Tanja has a general interest in the treatment of trauma and trauma related issues, and focused her graduate studies in this area.
Rose Viviano, LMFT
Rose received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Rose provides individual, couples, and family therapy for adults, adolescents and children. She is very diverse in her treatment of a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. She primarily utilizes a client centered solution focused approach, trying to tailor each client’s treatment to meet their personal needs. Rose has presented many times on a variety of topics at the Ft. Bend Council for Drug and Alcohol Abuse and provided CEU training at mental health organizations throughout the Houston community.
Judy Vo, M.Ed., LPC-Intern
Judy is a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, under the supervision of Jessica Cisneros, M. Ed., LPC-S, BCC.
She believes it is important for one to take time to thoroughly engage in self-exploration for the purpose of both gaining a better understanding of who they truly are, and attaining a healthy dose of self-awareness that will permit significant change to take place in their life. She received her Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston-Main Campus. Fluent in Vietnamese and English, Judy has experience in working with anxiety, Autism Spectrum, behavioral/adjustment issues, stress, and relationship problems. Because everyone is unique, she customizes therapeutic approaches based on the clients’ needs whether it may be Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy or among others. Sheila K. White, M.Ed., LPC
Sheila White, LPC has been counseling for the past 12+ years. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and Master of Education in counseling psychology from the University of Houston.
Sheila works with adults, couples, families, teenagers and the elderly. Her primary interests and skills have included improving communication skills, increasing emotional connection, and expanding self-growth. She has extensive experience working with grief/loss, marital conflict, parent-child conflict, depression, anxiety, lack of communication in relationships, and self-esteem issues. Sheila truly loves being a facilitator for desired change in others, and she loves watching people become happier and more fulfilled in their lives.
